Robots Everywhere Demo Day
Launched in June 2023, the Smart Campus Challenge initiative announced HKSTP’s incentive to Lead with Adoption, for innovating our campus grounds and operation enhancement in five distinctive cohorts of tech application scenarios. Cohort 1 – “ Robots Everywhere ” attracted over 50+ interests to perform their robotics solution capabilities, ready for adoption.
Robots Everywhere features Science Park as a living testbed for robots to train and run tests for enhancements, and through scenario-based validation, showcase their competitive advantage as best fit solution for Hong Kong Science Park's deployment and adoption.

Scenario-based validation consists of real-life case setup strategically designed by end users. Robots were required to complete tasks such as: (1) Navigating autonomously and safely across building floors while avoiding obstacles; detecting, and reporting any potential security issues. (2) Cleaning outdoor grounds, indoor floors and carpets, dirt and debris removal, and vacuum cleaning, while navigating autonomously, and safely. (3) Cutting grass while navigating autonomously, safely, and avoiding obstacles. with weather-responsive capability.
